Telehealth consulting is available,  allowing your therapist to consult you online using computer or mobile phone technology. No need to leave the comfort of your own home or office !

We use a secure, encrypted video platform that is compatible with any web browser or mobile phone. Join a telehealth consultation with just one click.

Supported by the ability to screen share and an extensive exercise library, our therapists can assess your health concern and prescribe an appropriate management plan that may include advice on self management and exercises that are easy to follow on your own.

Following your telehealth consult you will be provided with a written summary of your management plan, along with any supportive resources.

What technology do I need?


Our system is compatible with iOS and Android devices via the native app Physitrack. Alternatively, you may us any computer connected to the internet with a camera via your preferred web browser. Once you have booked an appointment, we will send you easy to follow instructions.




What can I expect in a telehealth consultation?


We will send you an online form before your telehealth consultation to gather some basic information from you. Once online, your therapist will ask you a range of questions to gather more detail. Depending on the problem, you may then be asked to do some movements at the direction of your therapist to assist the assessment process. Following this, your therapist will discuss an appropriate management plan that may include recommendations around exercises. Our system will provide you with detailed exercise instruction, including videos. We will also provide follow-up support via email or messaging.




Where should I call from ?


You will need internet connection and a quiet room without distraction. You may be asked to stand up, walk and move your arms and legs or perform some exercises, so a little bit of space around you can help. Video quality can be helped by a room with bright natural light, or adequate artificial light.




What health problems are suitable for telehealth consulting ?


Physiotherapists use a wide array of information when discussing your concern to help form a diagnosis and management plan. Movement analysis can be facilitated by video. Advice relaing to overall health and activity, ergonomics/posture, 'load' management and an individualised exercise program are all components of a physiotherapy management plan suitable via telehealth. We will screen your concern initially and advise you early in the process if your concern is not suitable for telehealth.

Payment needs to occur prior to the telehealth consult via our reception team.




Are Health Fund Rebates available for telehealth consultations?


YES, rebates are available in Australia from 14/04/2020 through participating health funds depending on your level of cover. We recommend you contact your private health fund directly to confirm. The following conditions apply (as determined by Private Healthcare Australia); - You are undergoing an existing course of treatment and have seen your physiotherapist in the past past six months, OR - For new patients, the tele-physiotherapy service has been recommended by their general practitioner or relevant medical specialist AND the primary condition being treated is one of: * Post orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation (e.g. Total hip or knee replacement) * Chronic musculoskeletal condition (e.g. osteoarthritis) NOTE: direct claiming is not available at thius stage, you will need to pay in full up front and present your invoice to the health fund for processing. Most health funds allow you to do this via an app or the internet.




Are Medicare Rebates available for telehealth consultations?


Unfortunately medicare rebates for are not available for telehealth consultations at this stage in Australia.




Can I Use Telehealth Under Workcover (NSW)?


Workcover does allow for telehealth consultations, however this requires pre-approval from your insurer. Please contact our clinic or your claims manager to discuss further,
